Job Overview
Seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Recruiter/Hiring Specialist. This role is vital in attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent across various departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, expertise in talent acquisition strategies, and experience with multiple ATS platforms. You will play a key role in managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires, ensuring a seamless hiring process that aligns with organizational goals and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates through various channels including social media management, job boards, campus recruitment, and cold calling.
  • Manage the entire recruitment process for diverse roles, including technical recruiting, executive recruiting, and internal recruiting initiatives.
  • Utilize ATS systems such as Workday, Taleo, PeopleSoft, and others to track applicant flow and maintain accurate candidate records.
  • Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate skills, cultural fit, and employment suitability.
  • Negotiate employment offers and contracts with candidates while ensuring compliance with employment & labor law.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide strategic talent management solutions.
  • Manage employee orientation programs and assist with employee evaluation processes.
  • Maintain knowledge of HR sourcing techniques, HRIS systems like Kronos or UltiPro, and HR tools such as Salesforce or ADP for efficient recruitment operations.
  • Support succession planning initiatives by identifying potential internal candidates for future roles.
  • Engage in research to identify new sourcing channels and stay updated on industry best practices in recruiting.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in recruiting across multiple industries with a focus on talent acquisition, HR sourcing, and relationship management.
  • Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication skills to effectively engage candidates and hiring managers.
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms.
  • Knowledge of employment & labor law to ensure compliance throughout the hiring process.
  • Experience with social media management for recruitment campaigns and lead generation efforts.
  • Ability to conduct effective interviewing techniques including behavioral and competency-based assessments.
  • Demonstrated ability in research and cold calling to generate leads for hard-to-fill positions.
  • Skills in training & development processes related to onboarding and employee orientation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
