Claims Assistant/Trainee

To provide support to Claims Adjusters/Claims Supervisors/Claims Managers within the Liability TPA office.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
REQUIRED DUTIES/TASKS:
    • Set initial reserves and plan of action according to instruction.
    • Open, close, and re-open files as necessary.
    • Prepare and handle office mail, including courier packages.
    • Take initial loss reports by phone, email, or
    • Assist Adjusters in processing of claims.
    • Assist Claims Supervisor as
    • Obtain Adjuster license.
    • Maintain Performance Measure
    • Maintain Workflow requirements.
    • Index Bodily Injury claims in
    • Request police reports as needed.
    • Prepare, copy and mail defense
    • Gather information for MSA referrals as requested.
    • Convey positive attitude and teamwork for optimum provision of services to
    • Enter claims in One Entry.
    • Pay expense bills as instructed by Adjusters or Supervisors.
    • Additional duties as deemed necessary and within the realm and scope of level of expertise, as outlined by Claims Supervisor, Claims Manager, or QA Manager.

Software/Computer Equipment Knowledge:
AIM 2.0; Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; IDatix; Copy Machine/Printer; ISO and Call Manager
