Provide a wide range of, administrative, clerical, and office support for a busy claims office. The individual would support the adjusting staff. Prior insurance knowledge is a plus.
- Preparing and drafting correspondence, reports, and visual presentations
- Providing support with proof reading and assisting in editing technical documents to ensure proper format, grammar, typographical accuracy, and conformance to procedural style
- Answering phones
- Maintaining and updating current reference material/files, handbooks, shared files and manuals
- Arranging meetings, to include scheduling conference rooms and audio set-up
- Managing the calendar
- Interacting with customers, vendors, and visitors
- Reporting time and attendance to the Program Manager
Required Qualifications:
- Have a High School diploma
- Experience with MS Office
- Ability to follow processes and procedures for maintaining personnel records in a manner consistent with existing legislation/guidance
- Have good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Be literate, well-groomed, and courteous
- Be alcohol and drug free
- Uphold the privacy of proprietary and sensitive information
- Be capable of interacting effectively with staff at every level
