Staff needed to support editing functions to standardize and streamline NASS survey editing duties as well as provide editing support for the 2027 Census of Agriculture. The staff will provide the support required to meet release dates for mission critical reports and the Census of Agriculture.
Support services may also include administrative functions and support work in the NOD Forms Processing Group, Frames Maintenance Group, Print Mail Center, and Objective Yield Lab. Administrative and support work may include but is not limited to filing, open and sort mail, process objective yield grain samples, assist Print Mail Center (PMC) staff.
Staff must be capable of standardized data editing.

- Basic knowledge and ability to use MS business applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to navigate new software applications, internet, and databases

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Level II Editor -required knowledge and skills:
- Demonstration of advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Meet minimum quota for record review with acceptable accuracy rates
- Proof of self-sufficient computer operation
Level III Editor -required knowledge and skills:
- Ability to assist other staff with procedural, software applications and general questions or issues in the performance of assigned work
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Training experience or the ability to train other staff
