Commercial Auto Liability Claims Adjuster needed to resolve Mass Transit/Auto BI claims, for a self-insured public government entity in Baltimore, MD. Successful candidate must be able to multi-task in a busy customer service oriented environment.
Job duties include:
- Determining applicability of coverage
- Recommending and authorizing the activities necessary to effect the disposition of claims
- Opening, closing, and adjusting various reserves
- Conducting investigations, negotiating, settling, and closing claims
- Documenting activities in accordance with established procedures
Qualified applicants will possess a bachelor’s degree (applicable experience may substitute for a degree) and at least two years of experience in automobile liability claims, including bodily injury claims.
