Administrative Assistant

Baltimore MD

Provide a wide range of, administrative, clerical, and office support for a busy claims office. The individual would support the adjusting staff. Prior insurance knowledge is a plus.


Job Function:
    • Preparing and drafting correspondence, reports, and visual presentations
    • Providing support with proof reading and assisting in editing technical documents to ensure proper format, grammar, typographical accuracy, and conformance to procedural style
    • Answering phones
    • Maintaining and updating current reference material/files, handbooks, shared files and manuals
    • Arranging meetings, to include scheduling conference rooms and audio set-up
    • Managing the calendar
    • Interacting with customers, vendors, and visitors
    • Reporting time and attendance to the Program Manager

    Required Qualifications:

    • Have a High School diploma
    • Experience with MS Office
    • Ability to follow processes and procedures for maintaining personnel records in a manner consistent with existing legislation/guidance
    • Have good oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, work independently and meet tight deadlines
    • Be literate, well-groomed, and courteous
    • Be alcohol and drug free
    • Uphold the privacy of proprietary and sensitive information
    • Be capable of interacting effectively with staff at every level
